Arrived in LAX after 48 hours of non stop packing and 23 hours of flying.
LAX looks shiny and good compared to last time I was here in 2015.
Immigration Officers were very helpful, they told me where to go, which line to follow.
I was in line with my USC fiancé, but they told us to queue up in the Green Line (visitors traveling with visas) but we were told to approach the interview desk separately.
My fiancé when through his interview in a breeze.
Mine was a little longer. The officer scanned my passport, took my fingertips, checked my passport again and asked me these questions:
Q: Why are you here?
A: I'm traveling with my K-1 Visa and I'm here to get married to my fiancé
Q: This is your first marriage?
A: Yes, and hopefully my last too.
Q: (pointed at the sealed envelope)
A: (I hand it over)
Q: (Stamp.. Stamp.. Scribble.. Scribble..) You have until August 11 2017 to get married. If not you must return to your home country.
A: Thank you.
Q: (He sign me to move)
A: Thank you very much.
All in all it took me and my fiancé approx. 30 minutes.
