We arrived about 8 PM at SFO from Manila. It was a crowded flight, so there were many people going through customs and immigration. It was my second time through, but the first time for my fiance, who is here on a K1 Visa. There were 2 immigration officers on duty, checking passports and Visas. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before it was out turn. The immigration officer was an Asian woman. She asked a few questions after we handed her the Visa packet and the passport. She opened the sealed Visa packet. She asked when we were planning to get married. I told her that we had not chosen a date yet. About 5 minutes with her and we were on our way. She stamped the passport. She kept the Visa packet that was given at the US consulate in Manila.
