The immigration officers were nice and efficient. The entire process took less than one hour, from getting off the plane to getting my entry stamp in the passport.
You first have to hand in your sealed file from the embassy to the border officer. He checks that you have all your paperwork, asks a few questions (I was there on a K1 visa so he asked where I met my fiance, when is our wedding date, what job I had before moving here and that's about it). He then takes you to the immigration office on the other side of the customs hall. I waited for about 20 minutes until another immigration officer called my name to one of the desks. He asked me if I know my rights, he told me I have 90 days to marry and then I can apply for a green card, and then he welcomed me to the US. Your entire immigration file that you brought from the embassy stays with them.
