My partner flew in with Emirates airline from Dubai.
He was near the back of the plane for unfortunately he had quite the line to wait to get through when he got to the immigrations.
He had said it was so slow at first because there was only 3 immigrations officers at first; but eventually they added 2 more to help make the process quicker. I would know, I was there 10 minutes before he landed and stood watching 3-4 people trickle out of the arrival gate here and there with up to 10 minutes in between.
Once he got to the counter he was asked a couple basic questions, finger printed, then taken to an office off to the side where he sat and waited for his name to be called along with about 6 other people.
When his name was finally called he was again asked a few questions. The immigration officer talking to him basically re-emphasized the fact the visa was for a 1-time entry only, even to the point of circling it on the actual K-1 visa in his passport. He was then granted access and sent to the baggage area. At this point he was literally only of the very last people through immigrations for his flight so his bags were almost only ones left.
Overally, besides that from time of arrival at about 8:55am and actually entering through arrival gate at about 11am(a little over 2 hours), the process was relatively smooth. Dallas just was not quite prepared with enough immigration officers.
