K-1 Fiancee POE. My fiancee arrived at @ 5:20 pm on a Thursday night. This apparently wasn't the greatest of times because the Gate G Arrival board showed 8 planes in customs at the same time. The total time through customs was 90 minutes. The customs officer was a young woman. She was not very friendly. Questions were somewhat standard for a K-1 POE customs interview with some exceptions. These questions included why so many snacks and gifts and how much cash are you carrying. Also, there were questions related around the relationship timeline. The officer was critical about certain events overlapping. Most of the other questions had to do about the relationship and personal information about herself and me. These types of questions are similar to what you might encounter at the Embassy Interview. After all the questioning, they put the luggage through x-ray and then hand checked the luggage.
