Something I'd been dreading, but I was so wrong. I landed in LA on a 6am flight so it wasn't that busy, waited in line for about 15 minutes, reached the CO who was really nice, handed him my envelope and said you are going to need this, and he laughed, then asked me, 'so you are immigrating today then?' Ummm Yes! Lol...he spent about 10 minutes going through the paperwork, entering me in the system, stamped my passport and said welcome to America!! No more than half an hour in customs. Just like every other time I've been through
