My husband (fiancé at the time) had difficulties with this airport. They detained him for 1 hour and refused to give me any updates on his well-being. His plane arrived late, which aggravated the problem, but the border control inspector asked him for my specific address many times. The most ridiculous aspect of all of this was the fact that my husband HAD the address in the papers in front of him, but the inspector refused to allow him to look at it. He remembered the name of the street luckily, but could not remember the number. The problems did not stop there. My husband was then scrutinized in every way possible. He was asked about everything in his past related to phone numbers and addresses in both Italy and Tunisia. He was then told to call me for 'proof' that I existed. Overall this was a terrible airport to fly into. There was no respect given to him.
