Super smooth process, no issues. I was at the airport overnight so I was at security at 4:30am when they opened.

I got to the first customs officer and she was a bit grumpy (although I can't really blame her since it wasn't even 5am yet). But she spoke to me as little as possible. She asked me where I lived to which I told her that I am from Nassau, but I am moving to Minnesota. She looked at me blankly for a few seconds then looked at my passport and said nothing else. She then asked me to place my fingers on the scanner but didn't bother to tell me which hand. After a bit of fumbling and looking to her to see if I was doing it right I had my 4 fingers resting on the scanner. I stayed like this for over a minute as she just stared at her screen, clicking and typing until finally I asked if I could move my hand, she looked at me then looked back to her screen without saying anything so I moved my hand (since I've had my fingers scanned MANY times before and normally the officer tells me to move my hand after just a few seconds). When I moved my hand she gave me a weird look and said 'ok'.

She scanned my boarding pass and asked if I had any checked luggage to which I said yes. She scanned my boarding pass a couple more timed then just walked away with my boarding pass without telling me anything. So I stood there for a bit. She same back with another officer and she was telling him that my suitcases were not showing up, but i could not hear what he was saying. When she finally did look at me she didn't even bother explaining anything about my suitcases.

Anyway, after that she sent me over to secondary (which I was expecting) but she didn't even really explain why....if I didn't know that it was normal I would probably have been really worried.

Once in secondary, I was the first one there, the guy behind the counter was much friendlier. I handed over my envelope, passport and boarding pass. He asked when we intended to get married and what city we would be living in, before he began stamping my papers and passport. It took less than a minute. The only issue came when he tried pulling my checked luggage up on the screen to ask me to identify them. For some reason the system was not showing that I had luggage. So I had to sit down while somebody went to check on it. After a few minutes they got it sorted out, I identified the luggage and I was good to go!

Security opened at 4:30 and I was at my gate by 5:15

(I am only rating them a 1 on the harassment scale because the attitude from the first lady was very off putting but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the K1 visa)
