Going through Miami POE was much smoother than others (Newark, Charlotte, Chicago) I had been through.
It could be related with the fact I am Brazilian (there are maaaaany Brazilians that come to Miami), and also with the circumstances, as I was coming to the USA to attend a technical training in fire protection, for further education and professional certification.
Versus other times I had come when I was unemployed and didn't have a consistent income.
There are so many Brazilians that come to Miami that when going through security, they even spoke some Portuguese! Simple little things like "take shoes off, empty your pockets, and NO liquids allowed". But anyways, that was a first!
