I landed at JFK on September 10, 2015 at 3:45 pm approximately. After disembarking the plane, I was directed to the immigration line for people with visas. I waited in line for about half an hour, and then when it was my turn they took my fingerprints and picture. My passport was stamped. Then the customs officer took my envelope that I brought from the embassy, and asked me when I was going to get married. Then I was taken to the interview room. I waited about 20 minutes for another customs officer. The officer looked through my papers, asked me about my mother's name, and if I was aware of the K1 visa requirements. My passport was returned and I went to collect my baggage. A total of approximately an hour and half from landing to getting my baggage.
