Hello everyone,
I am sure people reading this post must be little confused or afraid of which POE to choose.
Henceforth, sharing my experience-
"Came to US on immigrant visa stamped on my passport after approval of green card in employment category. I arrived at Houston airport with almost no waiting time for CBP office. I was taken to another CBP office inside airport for sealed visa packet validation e.t.c. Staff was very helpful but i waited for almost 1 hour in the waiting area. I came out happily but here comes the horror story".
" After signing papers at CBP office at airport, it took almost 6 months to receive my physical green card. When i called USCIS after 2 months, i was told that my Visa packet has been lost by CBP office and i need to appear for fingerpint/documents submission at local USCIS office. I did that immediately and waited for 6 weeks. Thereafter, called back to check-in status and was told that they lost my documents again. I kept calm and again went to USCIS local office and submitted papers and photograph.
Finally, GC arrived after 6 months long wait.
