At the Immigration Hall was thrilling moment with no worries, after disembarkment from Delta #630 MNL-DTW, and together my Deaf wife and our 3 1/2 years old Filipino-American son, came into long lines, were quickly reduced as there were more booths CBP Officers opened their station.
When her time the CBP Officer told her that she should have taken Immigration lane, not Visitor lane. My wife told the officer that a lady told her to take "that" lane. The first officer smiled and asked her to do her fingerprint scan prior transfer to other station.
Now with second CBP female Officer accepted my wife's MBE, and proceed pulling apart the package with effort, as if it has been tighten seal by the Embassy. My wife remarked that this 2nd officer took careful look pages by pages but then with seriousness she demand that my wife has to furnish her America phone number. That increase difficulty rating because CBP should have express flexibility of asking for alternate contact method, such as 2 email addresses which is more memorable and highly reliable nowaday.
Other than take by wrong lane by CBP Greeter/Sorter and with 2nd Officer, my wife found her experience rewarding.
