Arrived at LAX POE from Australia on 05/18/2014 with my US fiance and the entire process took about 5 minutes. The immigration official opened my sealed package, stamped some pages and then stamped my passport. Asked a few questions of my fiance such as when we were getting married and whether he could score an invitation for the wedding. Lots of smiles and laughs and then off we went to collect our baggage. Very easy and painless. I barely said anything! =)
