Fast and easy POE. I was 3rd in line for booth 22. The nice female officer took my passport. I showed her file and said "I have lot's of paperwork for you". She replied with a laugh that she won't even attempt to look through any of it and would leave that to her colleague. She looked at my passport, visa stamp, asked if it was even me (I've grown my hair in a bit), took my biometrics and photo and escorted me to immigration.
At immigration, I was first in line. I was asked date of marriage, my index finger (right hand) print was taken and put onto 2 documents which I signed. I signed one more. I was asked to wait in the seated area. About 5 mins later I was called up, passport was handed back, I was shown the stamp and told that acts a temporary greencard until my actual card arrived and to have a great day.
We have travel planned in November so I mentioned when paying the immigrant fee it said to alert the officer if planning to travel. When I mentioned this he pointed to some paperwork he had already handed me and said it's explained in there, but that basically I can leave and enter as need be using the stamp until my card arrives.
I went through customs with no problems either. Really painless.
