After arriving and moving into the visitor line, it was quickly noticed that I had a large white envelope and i was shuffled into a 'New Immigrant' line where there was only 2 people in front of me, and 2 Officers processing.
The Officer that processed me was pretty efficient, the only let down was the technology which meant I did my fingerprints no less than 5 times - hey ho! The Officer asked some routine questions about when we got married, was I aware about removing conditions, and asking where my wife was (that flummoxed me at the time, but in hindsight he was checking she was in the US) and after about 15 minutes I was on my way.
The major gripe was that we had arrived at the domestic terminal, and our bags had been routed to the International one - cue a 15 minute walk from one terminal to another to meet my Wife in arrivals, but other than that was pretty painless.
