The entry itself was fast, but queuing to get to that point sure took a while! (K-1 entrants go in the Visitors line btw)

I jumped queues a couple times, and the fastest queue suddenly slowed down significantly when one of the Japanese passengers needed a translator, and they had to wait for a flight crew from his flight to be present... So my wait lasted about 40 minutes or so.

Got to the counter, handed officer my passport and brown envelop... Officer says, What visa are you entering on? So I told him, K-1, and pointed at the envelop. He took the envelop and opened it... Took my photo and fingerprints.. Verified with the next POE officer that he was supposed to stamp on page 2 of the K-1 document... and then he goes, Where is your page 2???

Omg!!! There was just page 1 and 3, and I watched him flip between pages 1 and 3 until he realised that page 2 was behind page 3. Oh phew!

He asked when I'm getting married, and then asked if I knew that the K-1 was valid for 3 months (I was like, I thought it expires in November?) He said, You have 90 days to get married. So I told him that I knew that, and then he cancelled out the entry number on my K-1, and stamped my arrival date on the passport. He said that was all... I hovered around for a bit to see if he called me back for anything, but he didn't, so I left!!

Baggage check was a breeze, mainly because the passengers were so slow going through the immigration bit =o
