It was easier than I could have imagined. I eхpected my husband to take at least an hour to clear customs, but he was one of the first people to appear. The flight arrived at 12:30pm, and we were on our way home around 1:15pm. He asked the person coordinating the traffic where should he go with a packet and was directed to Lpr/ citizen lane. However, when he showed the customs agent his IR1 visa and packet he was directed to secondary inspection right away. There he spent about 5-10 minutes while they opened the package and took his fingureprints. They said congradulations and he was on his way to pick up the baggage. Was easier than I could imagine
