Having travelled to Minneapolis 10 times in the last few years, I expected the usual 30 - 45 minute delay through queuing/customs. I expected the additional checks necessary due to the K1 visa would extend the wait to an hour or so, however, this time I joined the back of a long que where I stood for about 10 seconds before asking a passing customs guy if this que was ok for k1 processing. The guy pointed at an empty lane a suggested I waited over there. As I approached the line I was asked to keep walking straight on to the vacant booth.
The officer took my passport and opened my envelope, then went straight to the relevant page from the envelope and stamped it twice and signed it before returning my passport whilst mentioning the 90 days. Couldn't have been longer than 2-3 minutes. Whole experience was less than 5 minutes and by far the quickest transit through Minneapolis customs.
