I was nervous all throughout the 11 hour flight. When we got to SFO and I had to leave him, I my stomach was in knots. I got through immigration on my side and the officer told me it might be a while, as the line for new immigrants was very long, and he laughed and told me not to be nervous, I guess I was that obvious. I got all of our luggage and after 45 minutes he came through the exit and I cried. He said it took so long because there were so many people and he was the last one. The officer was very nice, didn't ask him any questions, other then friendly ones, took the package, stamped his passport and sent him on his way. A week later and we even have the SSN number already! I wish the entire process had been this easy!!
