Arrived at LAX at about 6.00am - I walked to the immigration area and asked an official which line, he put me in the US citizens line and I dealt with a lovely lady - she processed me and told me I would have to go down the end of the room and wait for the greencard to be processed - she asked me when my connecting flight was and I told her it was in 2 hours and she processed me straight away - all in all, very easy, friendly staff and i was out of there in about 20 mins.
