I arrived in LA with my dog. Got off the plane at about 3 pm i think, not a lot of people which was nice. I asked where to queue and was told visitors. The queue moved quickly, and once i got there maybe 15 minutes later, the man just took, my documents, asked when i was married, which he asked me to repeat...then said..wow you have been married a long time! He then took my fingerprints, eye scan and asked me to follow him.
He asked me to stand back over the line..where i was originally and promptly put my documents on the counter (envelope and passport), anyone could of picked them up!
After about 20 minutes, I spoke to security as I was concerned someone could walk off with my papers. I guess as I could see my dog cage, that the dog heard my voice and started barking lol!
This seemed to speed things up and 10 minutes later I was done! Took my dog outside for a walk..they have a little park area for dogs to go..very nice!
After a while I put him back in the cage, ready for our next flight to Vegas.
Arrival in Vegas was easy, my husband was waiting for me, I was kind of disappointed my sons were not there, but it was gone 10 pm, and my hubby had booked a hotel (which accepted dogs) for some catch up time.
The next morning we left early and I went into the schools and collected my sons, with huge amounts of tears of joy!
Happy ever after!
