I was one of the last people getting off the plane so the line for the immigration was pretty long...or at least that's what it felt to me..lol!
I have to admit I was pretty nervous cause I didn't know what to expect, but I knew I had all the proper documents so when I got to the desk I handled the passport opened in the K1 visa page. The guy looked at me and I told him I had a yellow envelope for him, he took it, smiled and says "whoa..this is like...your entire life uhn?" "yup!" That relaxed me enough and we started to talk about how me and my fiance met. Everything went just fine.
Just one little issue: the expiring day on my visa was 6 months after the day it was issued but the guy told me that it was actually already expired (a month after it was issued O_o) So he called who looked to be like a superior and he told her she had to sign an "expired visa" (O_o) Sounded like it was a mistake on the consulate side, they were pretty cool about it thou. Everything went well and he just said goodbye with a Congratulation!
