The immigration line was busy when I arrived and when I had my turn to give the K1 packet to the immigration officer by the counter, he had another officer assisted me to their office for verification/short interview. There was another lady with the same case as me and we were seated at the immigration room. Our files were submitted for processing in that room but weren't touched until about 15 minutes later when a friendly officer asked us to walk to another nearby room which was right across the one we were in (about 30 steps from that room).
An officer asked a lady I was waiting with how old she was (she was hugging a stuffed toy) and she said 25 or something and the officer replied remarked in a softer voice with his back turned to her "or 17". Felt bad for her but I didn't think she noticed.
10 mins later (after more waiting, their boss called them for a meeting), another officer interviewed me and asked questions like the name of the petitioner, when and where we plan to get married, etc. He seemed to have problems with the pictures I had in the passport which he said didn't look like the same person (I was wearing colored contact lens in one) but was ok with it. He clarified the 90-day rule (get married within 90 days). I was done in about 20-30 minutes which I think would've been faster if they were more attentive.
