Wife said that it took 30 minutes from when she exited plane to when she got out of immigration. It probably helped that she was sitting in the front of the plane and she went through right before several other flights came in. They did not ask her any questions and did not really seem to have people that spoke Spanish, so she had a little bit of a hard time understanding. They had her sign some documents and took her fingerprints.
I imagine that it is usually necessary to spend more than 30 minutes in immigration in Atlanta...I usually spend about an hour waiting in line, so her experience was probably not totally typical.
