My fiancees entry experience at LAX was rather positive and free of any hassle. The Homeland Security officer asked for the sealed packet, opened it up and took about 2mins to review the documents. He then took a look at her passport. He simply asked if we knew that we had to get married within 90 days -- to which we both nodded our heads and said yes -- and asked a couple questions about where we are going to live. He then stamped her passport and said welcome to the United States. The entire process took about 7mins from the time we stepped up to the homeland security officer.
