Although we had to wait a bit for processing, the immigration official who processed my husband's documents was very nice, pleasant and helpful. We had it built up in our heads that it was going to be a terrible experience. Could not have been more wrong! He also got the temporary EAD without issue (but later to find out its simply useless!).
