I arrived at ORD at 3:30pm. My SO's flight arrived on time at 4:13pm. I stood at gate B. I waited and waited and waited and waited. WOW, was I getting nervous, I did not know what to do. I called my sister and parents and the told me to relax and wait. There was sooooooo many people there waiting for their friends and loved ones....unbelievable!!! Finally at 6:35pm she came out of the exit. I was overwhelmed...my baby arrived!!! This is how my SO described what happened. There were at least 200 people in front of her, probably more. When she finally got to a customs agent this is what happened: my SO handed in her paperwork and passport, he opened up the bag and asked her if she was to US before, what was her profession, what was my profession, where did we meet, how old I am, where do I work and where I was waiting for her. and that was it. Very simple, professional and courteous.
