We arrived at Terminal 4 at 5:15 AM on Saturday. We arrived at the "Immigration Hall" and went directly to the US Citizen line since I was traveling with my wife.
There was NO line at all, handed to officer my passport, her passport and the envelope they gave us at the embassy.
The officer went ahead and opened the envelope, looked at the paperwork briefly, asked me what I did for a living and that was it. He went ahead and took my wife's biometrics and indicated that NOW ALL Green Card Holders will have to go trough the Biometrics process every time they come into the country.
After about 3 minutes, he walked us into the room at the far end of the hall. We were asked to leave our carry-on luggage outside and an officer took our paperwork. We were asked to take a seat and within 2 minutes were were called to the back of the room where the officer asked my wife to sign and get finger printed.
The WHOLE immigration process took about 10 minutes and was a great surprise for both of us. I was expecting at least a 1 hour process but luckily that was not the case. There was 0 harassment and ALL of the officers were helpful.
