I had made sure that I had plenty of time to go through POE in Detroit. I had a two and a half hour layover and I was hoping that would be enough! I actually used 20 minutes of it on immigration. I waited in line for around 15 minutes and the other five minutes were for processing. The officer was professional, but pleasant. After a browse through my paperwork, he asked me where I was going to be living and when I was getting married. He checked my fingerprints and did the retinal scan and told me I was good to go and also "Welcome to America". To think I had actually lost sleep worrying over the whole process .....
