Atlanta was great and I would highly recommend this POE. I know that everyone's experience can be different but they seemed to be organized and friendly.
I was a little concerned because we only had a two hour layover with a Nicaraguan kitten in a carrier and my Fiance with a K-1 visa. When we arrived there was not many people in line at the check point. My Fiance went to the Visitors line and I went to the Citizens line. We were processed quickly and were sent to a small room to wait for the officer to check us through to our next flight. Once in the room I noticed a small TV that had a list of flights that were landing...we were very lucky because the line at the check point became very long. We just missed the rush. Some of the officers spoke Spanish and I saw translators working with people. In the office there were no problems. The officer simple asked us if we were clear about the fact that we needed to get married in 90 days and then congratulated us. 
We then carried on to security to be processed for our next flight. We had no problem with our kitten at all. When I went through security they asked that I take her out of her case and carry her through the metal detector with me. The security officers were petting her and the guy watching the x-ray machine was so busy admiring her he wasn't doing his job. All went very well.
We had pizza and waited for our flight.
