Lines were horrendous at O'Hare immigration. Airline personnel were rude. There was lack of people to inquire where to proceed, there were no signs to indicate immigrant vs non immigrant lines. The immigration officer I had was training another one, I was sort of looking over the counter at what they were doing and he told me to back off! I had to wait about 10 minutes as he did not know what to do re: my tb history. Told his trainee to go to another office to ask. After it was cleared up, I was allowed to go and collect my baggage. The baggage area was a mess, since I was delayed so much at immigration, all the baggage from my flight are out but I could not find them. Turns out since I had balikbayan boxes they were considered oversized and piled up against a wall nowhere near our carousel. Customs was a breeze. Once outside it was a madhouse, packed with people meeting people. And believe me, the lines I left inside were nowhere near half done.
