Came over with my mother. After getting off the plane, we got in the line for non-US passport holders. The gentleman opened my sealed packet. He was training someone and explaining the major things to look for: drug convictions, etc. He said if there's a drug conviction that's an immediate rejection. I didn't have anything on my police report, so I got through OK. Once that was fine, they just approved my visa and stamped it.
They weren't particularly unfriendly, it was very quick, we didn't go into a different room, it was all just done at the regular customs desk. Very uneventful!
