After we went through primary inspection, we were taking to secondary inspection and told to have a seat. The immigration officer let me pass through with my husband to the waiting room. After waiting about an an hour and fifteen minutes, a Nigerian officer (we know because we had small talk) called my husband to the front desk, fingerprinted him and told him about the importance of removing the conditions for his green card within 90 days of his second anniversary in the US. she turned to me and asked if I had been married before was was happy when I looked shocked and said no. all in all, it was a long wait, but the process was speedy once they called our name and handed back the passports. i dont think it mattered as far as customer service was concerned that I (the US citizen) was passing through with my husband.....
