Entered MEM at 4:45 in the afternoon. The customs area is quite small, as I think the only international flights are from Amsterdam. Anyway, after asking a customs officer which line we could wait in together, she just opened a new counter for the both of us, processed us (fingerprints and photo for my fiancee), and gave her passport and sealed packet to another officer who led us to a waiting room. He asked us to take a seat and he went into a back room. We waited for about 10 minutes, listening to the sounds of stamps and staples from behind the door (we took that as a good sign). He came out with her passport, told us we had 90 days to get married and wished us congratulations. The whole process took maybe 15 to 20 minutes total. Completely painless.
