My fiance went through Immigration by himself, and had a rather interesting experience. He walked up to the desk and the officer looked at him and asked, "Student Visa?" When my fiance told him that he was on a Fiance Visa, the officer acted surprised and told him that he is too young to get married. My fiance is 22, but I guess he looks younger than that. The officer also commented on the fact that he thought it was odd that my fiance was male. I guess they get a lot of middle-aged females through Detroit? Oh well, other than that it was easy for him to get through Immigration. I just thought it was an odd experience...
