Port was Chicago O'Hare International and visa was K3. Overall, the process was very smooth. The only difficulty we had was that the officer did not know what K3 visa was. Even after I explained it to him and he looked over the visa, he was clueless. He had to grab his supervisor, who then used our case to teach him how to process K3. She admitted that K3 was a very rare thing at O'Hare. We weren't asked any questions or for any documents so everything went well; it's just that it took a very long time as we had to sit through the whole training. The plus side was that we got to see all the papers contained in the yellow brown envelope, got to hear the detailed process, and got to know what kind of things do they look for, all of which was quite entertaining.
