 Seemed like an eternity - do not allow less than 4 hours for your connecting flight. spent the night in Miami (airport hotel) up at the crack of dawn. apparently some of the folks ahead of my wife did not have all their paperwork in order, and she had to wait.....wait....and wait some more before being attended to. be prepared to wait with no contact with your significant other for a while (no cell phones allowed on while going through immigration).
