My husband and I went through the same line at passport control. We handed the man our immigration folder. He was talking to other workers about the Cubs game and was not paying attention at all. He asked us a few questions such as "When were you married?" and made the comment "That was quick". He told us where to go next. We gathered our suitcases and were directed to an open waiting area. My husband and I both took a seat after we handed in our folder to a man sitting at a desk. One by one he opended the paperwork and called people to the front. We got the stamp in his passport and were on our way. I think we waited less than 45 minutes. As informed, we got the actual green card in the mail however his name was mispelled. We had to mail it back and were told we would have to wait up to six months! Oh well... he can work and live here!
