Interview on Nov. 1st at 7.30am.
After going through security, I was directed to the cashier's window to pay the visa application fee, and quickly after that to window 23 where the officer took my DS- 230 part 2.
After maybe 30 minutes I was called to another window where an officer went through all my paperwork with me and collected what I still had to submit: police certificate, birth certificate and affidavid of support.
It was all in order and nothing was missing, so after a few minutes she said: Very good, take a seat until your number is called for the interview.
After a wait of maybe 1 hour my number was called. I went to the window, the officer gave me my DS-230 (both parts) to read through it and see that everything was correct, he then swore me in and I signed the DS- 230.
After that, he asked me when and how I had met my husband, why he had been in Germany at that time and if we had ever lived with one another before getting married.
I answered all the questions, he nodded and said: ok, looks very good, good luck in America. You will receive your visa within the next couple of days.
All in all, everyone was very friendly and patient. I was in and out of the embassy in less than three hours.
