I wasn't there but asked my fiancee for details.
Document intake -
This went pretty smooth. They asked her to take the covers off the birth, unmarried, and police certificates. They asked her to affix her passport photo to the DS 156. She got there 2 hours early and so got a low number for interviewing the next day.
Interview -
Lasted 5 minutes. I thought it was interesting the interviewer was an American woman but she conducted the interview in Chinese. They only asked to see our photos, and said they were cute. Didn't ask to see any financial documents which surprised me. They asked how we met. They asked my fiancee some questions about her education because she has a master's degree. She was out by 9 30 am with approval!
