Review Topic: General Review

We reached the Diplomatic Enclave at 6.00am. Forgot to take our I.D Cards and the guard wont let us in despite out Passport I.D's specially after I had an argument with him. My husband tried to cool him down and we entered the enclave. (please do not forget to take your ID cards along). Reached the U.S embassy after boarding on to the shuttle. My husband went in for the Biometrics and then we waited for our turn to enter the interview hall. My husband and kids were called on to window where he signed DS-230. After 30-45 minutes we were called in for an interview. A smart and young Male C.O greeted us. Asked my husband the following questions after taking an oath.

Q1. Who is sponsoring you?

Q2. Why do you want to go to the U.S

Q3. What will you do (work related)?

Then he interviewed me (Sponsor)

Q1. What will you do in the U.S (Work Related)

Q2. Why do you want to go?

Q3. Who is our Joint Sponsor?

Then he asked us to sit only to be called back after some review. We were tensed as I saw the officer studying our files closely and feeding the data in his system. After another 20 mins we were called again by the same C.O. We held our breath for his decision and heard those pleasing words. Congratulation! your visas have been approved (My husband and minor kids). You will receive them with the designated courier service within 7-14 working days. (We just got home today and received a call from the courier to collect our passports) Thank God!

A little about my background and specific interview questions (I have been living in Pakistan since a very long time and have decided to move now with my family. Therefore C.O wanted to know more about how will I prove my U.S Domicile as I had taken formidable steps to maintain this Domicile).

Q4. Why do you want to go to California?
