We arrived for our adjustment of status interview. The office was running a bit late and we weren't called until 45 minutes after our scheduled time. The USC was called in first and was asked some basic questions about the I-130 form, and not much else. The spouse was then called in and asked similar basic questions about the I-485 form, and a couple of simple questions as what the rent was, where we lived, etc. Nothing difficult or that required too much thought. The officer was very friendly and congratulated us on our wedding and our pictures, and didn't look at any of the joint financial/insurance documents we brought or any of the additional pictures. We were approved on the spot and received the card production ordered e-mail later in the day.
