AOS Interview from B2 Visa.
Our appt was at 7:15am, we arrived there only 30 min earlier, and it had about 20 people in line already. We are luck and only took 10 min to get there javascript:emoticon(''). In Atlanta, they open the office at 6:45am. You go trough the security (always listen to the guards, and take EVERYTHING from your pockets) and then go to the reception to check-in. Go to the 2nd floor and wait.
They called us about 7:25am. It was a very nice guy called Mr Abraham, he had a very strong accent. He swear us in, asked for our ID's and started making some random question. He asked my husband about my birthday, where I was born, and then he asked me about my husband. He asked me a lot of Yes/No question (those silly questions about, guns, arrested and so on). Asked me my mother in law name, and if I met her often :P .... Then he took copies of our car insurance, health insurance, married license, and one picture of our wedding (one with the whole family together)... He asked my husband about his work, and if I was working, I told him that I was working since I received the EAD (Feb). That was it... It was fast, 8:10am we were out of the office.
One thing I made a mistake, I didn't ask him to change my name to my married name on my green card. I asked in the end of the interview but the card has been in production already. It is hard because I didn't know when I should ask him since we cannot assume that we are gonna to be approved, right?... But yes, you can ask them if you can change your name on the interview! But it's not a big deal, I'll change it, when I renew the green card or apply to the citizenship.
