Hello VJrs! so today me and hubby had our interview in Boston at 2:30, we took a cab from our home because it was raining pretty bad, and we didn't feel like taking public transportation. Anyways, we got to the immigration building about 1:50, and there were no lines to go in. There was a lot of people waiting to get called in, as we walked in the room we dropped off our interview letter in the reception desk, and we were not asked for any types of IDs which I thought was strange because every other review I've read said they asked for IDs. Anyways we waited for about 45 mins which went by pretty fast. We kept seeing people getting called to go in, until they called our names. It was an older man, maybe in his mid 50s, cant recall his name. Once we walked up to him, he said ummmmmm actually he is coming in first (my husband.) So i sat down and waited for about 20 mins. I also saw that not every couple gets separated, I guess is up to the officer judgement. ('') So my husband came out, and I went inside to got asked for my I-90, passport, and EAD which he took away to put in my file. Then he asked me few questions about my husband, which he had already asked my husband too. after that he went over the i-485 questions, and then went to his computer, and said, okay ill just finish you up. He stamped my forms in a BIG RED STAMP saying Approved! that's when he said "ok you should be getting your card within 2 weeks" and I was like, okay THANK YOU! Overall the whole experience was very good!!! the officer even joked around with us.
The questions were, how we met? how many siblings does he have? how much is our rent? who do we live with? and what does my husband do with our roommates? (since they are friends and are in a band together) what is the name of the band? and he asked my husband for pictures. THATS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this was helpful!!!!! My experience was good and im very very happy!!!!!!!
