Our interview was scheduled for 8:45am. We arrived at 8:40am. There were about 10 people in line by the time we got there. We waited less than 5 minutes to get in. After that, they took our cellphones and we went through security. Once inside, the room was PACKED! After about 5 minutes, we were called to window 12. The nice lady asked us for all the forms and if we had extra pictures. Then she gave me a slip to pay. I went to pay the $240 fee, while she asked my fiance a few questions like "how many times has she visited you?"

After that she told us to wait. We sat down and a few minutes later we were called to "Ventanilla 14" for the interview. The CO was a young American man. We sat down and he asked me if I spoke enough Spanish for him to go through the interview in Spanish and I said yes. Then, he proceeded to ask my fiance a few questions:

- When did your relationship turn romantic?
- How did you propose to her?
- Is this your guy's son?

After that he told us that we had to mail in the medical exam results, the birth certificate, and his passport through DHL. And then I asked: "How do we know if we're approved?" And he said: "Oh, you're approved. I apologize. I usually say that as soon as the interview is over, but I guess I got wrapped up on the missing documents. But you're approved! We're going to issue the visa as soon as we receive the missing documents, as long as there's nothing wrong with them"

The total time it took was about 45 minutes!
