Relatively painless interview. IO asked a couple of questions from my husbands G-325, he looked at the evidence we brought.. lease, car insurance, joint bank account statement, 2012 joint tax return - he stated that without the W2 he can not accept it as evidence since we didn't have the W2 with us as proof, and many many pictures - more copies for him although they already had copies of all the pictures and he looked at the original photos which we had brought in our wedding album and wedding shower album (they included an original wedding shower and wedding invitation that he also made copies of). He looked at my passport and both our IDs asked about a couple of people in some of the pictures, who I named to him. He asked me about my background, since I was adopted and born in a different place than where I had grown up and commented on my distinct Asian features. He asked about our jobs and we had a little small talk about hubby's work place. While talking IO took my I-94 and crossed out my J-1 visa with a red pen. He went and made copies of everything we provided him with and said after returning that we would get a decision in the mail within 45 days. While walking out of the office into the lobby I realized he had kept our certified copy of marriage certificate, which I didn't mind too much as we have two more at home and I didn't want to bother to get back in and get it back. Hubby says interview was only ten minutes it seemed longer to me, but then again I have a bad judgment of time when I am nervous or uncomfortable.
