First of all, our interview time was for 11:35. We were there early and went in a little past 11am. They were pretty busy, we didn't end up getting called until 12:30 and then the interview took about twenty minutes (I think the actual interview took longer than my visa interview, lol). We both went in together and sat down, the interviewer asked for our ID's and my passport with the I-94 and took that out of my passport. Then asked us to stand for the oath. After that he asked us a bunch of questions like parents names, our birthdays etc and ticked off our answers on our paperwork. He also asked some of the 'have you ever...' questions that were on the I-485. After that we talked a little about Oz ( he was there a few times with the navy) then he asked when we were married, a bunch of questions about how/when we met. Asked us about the first time we met in person. Then asked us for some evidence of sharing address and some wedding photos. He kept all of the evidence that we gave him, except the photos, he only kept half the photos, gave us the rest back.
My poor husband was sick today too, coughing during most of the interview and the IO was kind enough to give him a box of tissues, lol (just thought i'd add that because i thought it was really nice of him).
I was very much expecting him to say something about my medical as i decided to risk it and only sent the DS 3025 which also had my birth date written on it wrong, lol, but apparently it was fine because it never got mentioned :D
At the end he gave us a form saying we were approved, explained ROC and told me i could now stay here forever, haha. The overall experience was more pleasant than i thought it would be.
