My Fiance arrived at the Embassy designated parking area around 6:45AM. From there he caught the shuttle to the Embassy and was in processed for his interview. Upon receiving the token after handing over his passport which will be used to pickup his passport from the American Express office, he place it into the binder of documents he was carrying. He took his seat in the waiting hall which he said was filled with about 100 or so people.
After some time his name was called and he went to the appropriate window. They began conducting the interview. They got to the questions of What I (petitioner) do for a living and where I work. They seemed shocked by his answer and asked him to take a seat and wait for a little while longer. After some time, they escorted him into a private office where they began interviewing him a second time. This time the questions lasted for about an hour. My fiance was very confident about his answers and said that his interview actually went AWESOME. However, the binder of information that he had brought with him, they took it from him. After they took it they asked him to wait. He waited in that office for 3-4 hours. After about 4 hours he asked the Security Guard to please make a call to the man who took his binder and ask him what was going on and how much longer he would need to wait. The man then appeared in the window, told my fiance that they were still investigating our case and that they would call or email him with their decision. My fiance then left. He was at the Embassy a total of 9 hours. He was soooo hungry when he got out and his legs hurt from sitting for sooo long. and WHOOPS! The token is still inside that binder of information that they didn't return to him.
