My husband and I showed up 45 minutes early for our 8:00 appointment. The guards were outside and told us the office would open at 7:30. When the office opened, they let us in, asked for passports and appointment letter, and we went through security (airport-like). The security guards were friendly. We were told to sit in the waiting room and that our IO would come meet us there.
After about 10 minutes, our IO showed up and led us to his office. He swore us in and asked me (the beneficiary) questions on the I-485: parent's first names, date of birth, and asked all the questions on pages 3-4. After that, he talked mostly to my husband asking how we met and how long we had been married. He then asked if we had anything to document the relationship since the wedding. He quickly browsed through utility bills (under both names), joint banking information and photos and told us he was granting the green card and explained we would have to go through ROC in 2 years. Overall a smooth and enjoyable experience. We were out by 8:05
