Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiancee and i got to the consulate at 11:30am in time for the 1pm appointment. At 12:30pm we were asked to line up by the security guards and promptly ushered into the waiting area. Few minutes later after security checks at the gate and we were on our way into the consulate building. Inside the interview room, there were at least 50 people already seated. I took a seat and waited for my queue number to come up the screen. I had to wait for close to 3 hours before i was called eventually. I was the last person to leave the interview room! lol. Anyway, i had time to compose and prepare myself mentally while i waited by listening to other people's interview question and answers., and believe me, while u stand there, getting drilled by these COs, everyone else in the room hears everything you were asked and your responses. Most of the people that were denied was because they couldn't provide convincing answers to the questions. One lady was asked to provide her husband's tax papers and she had no idea what that is! and i'm like WTH! Another gentleman couldn't tell how his fiancee got her US citizenship!
Anyway, i got called to window 14 and the unsmiling bald CO goes..

Well i see u had your case transferred from Cyprus.. and i said yes sir.
Raise ur right hand and swear to tell the truth bla bla bla... I did
How did you meet your fiancee?
How initiated the first convo?
When did you meet for the first time?
How long did she spend with you the first time?
When was the last time you saw each other? And i'm like an hour ago, and he said how's that? and i said she is waiting for me right outside the gate. And he is like Oh right., ok.
Then he continues...
What does your fiancee do for a living?
Where does she live?
Does she live alone or with a roomie?
Does she drive a car? ...yes i said. And then immediately, he jabbed in without pausing, what brand of car is that?
What does she like to for fun?
Do you have some more pictures to show me? I did.
Who are the other people in the picture? I pointed out the people in the pictures with us and explained.
Then he asked to see the phone log. I showed him that.
Do you have anything else to show me? I gave him load of our printed text messages.(it couldn't fit into the hole under the glass, so he asked me to show him a few of them) He read some of them too., and i thought i saw what might have been a smile cross his face for the first time in the whole session.
Then he goes again, do u have more evidence to show me? And i said would u like to see some of the cards we exchanged between each other? Then he looked up, thought about it and said oh no that will be all.
In all these while, the CO was typing away like crazy on his computer. He on only looks up to my face when i was answering his questions, and all the while staring me dead in the eyes.
He then asked to see my police report from Cyprus and Nigeria and wanted to know if i had done another medicals in Nigeria.(I didn't do any medicals in Nigeria because i figured that the one i already did in Cyprus 5 months ago would cover for the interview in Lagos) the CO didn't agree with this. Anyway, he went out for a brief sec, asked someone else about the medical thing and came back said, Well good news! You've been approved but u need to go to any of the panel physicians in Lagos and have your medicals done and bring it back to us, and then you can get your visa. I said thank you sir. And he said congratulations.. which sounded like music in my ears. lol.
